About Me

I am a blonde, 20-something girl pursuing a Masters in Christian Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago. My past life was living in Boston, working full time at a church doing design & communications, loving life on the east coast and spending time with close friends. So why would I give that up? What was I thinking?

Apparently, I was a blond with seminary on the brain. And, given the empirical data, one can easily deduce that this wasn’t just a whim, impulse or experiment (no, I do not want to be a nun or a priest). I’m pretty sure it fits the definition of calling (a definition which could warrant a lengthy blog of it’s own) and if you want to read how that all happened… check out my blog from a past life. That blog entry presents a more eloquent tale– but, in a nutshell, it has always been a passion of mine to learn. And when following Christ became a greater passion, I had a strong desire to marry the two in a setting like seminary. The time was never right, the money never there. But the time became right– the money still isn’t there– but God has beautifully orchestrated everything and made me fully confident that this is where I am supposed to be.

And now that I’m crazy enough to be doing this, I figured it would be worth blogging.
